Robert Half is the most disrespectful person that has ever walk the planet. He has been rude to every person he encounters and thinks he is very high class. He feels that he is not a part of the lower or middle class. Robert works as an investor for a significant stock market company in New York City. He gets up every morning and puts on a fancy suit, Rolex watch, and gets in his expensive car he drives to work. Every day, he goes to work and shows a lack of respect for every person on the street to the employees at his job. Once, he cursed out a homeless man for bumping into him on the sidewalk.
He loves to brag that he is rich and has about 30,000 dollars in the bank from all the investments he put into the stock market. Robert loves to buy expensive rings for women and takes them out on dates and spends about 500 dollars a meal. Robert never had any worries and was so cocky that he knew he would never go under. He was the happiest man in the world.
Robert wakes up on October 24, 1929, and did his regular routine. He decides to turn on the radio to hear the Wall Street Broadcast. Robert was shaving his face and cuts his cheek on accident. He drops the razor blade and places the radio against his ear to hear it more apparent. “The stock market has crashed!” the radio shouts. He becomes dizzy and falls to his knees. Robert immediately dresses into his clothes and goes straight to Wall Street. He can see that the streets are crowded with people shouting. Robert gets through the crowd and goes into the building. It is a madhouse, and he sees on the bulletin that the stocks are very very low. All his investments are worth pennies. He breaks down and screams with sadness.
Robert goes outside and passes by a homeless man holding a sign that says, “Money is the root of all evil.” He saunters into a hotel building and rents a room for the night. Robert picks the top floor, and as soon as he walks into the bedroom, he runs straight to the window and jumps…A greedy and filthy man named Robert Half went from a “millionaire” to a homeless man in a matter of minutes.
